Jungle exploration fishing trip
An approx 25 kilometer wading (and paddle) trip in a crystal clear creek in the jungle of Amazonia. During the 5-day fishing trip, we can catch many species of fish, both fly fishing and spinning, while observing the untouched jungle. We have not organized a tour on this river yet, let's explore it together, there is a good chance that no one has fished here before you. With a guide who speaks Hungarian, English and Spanish.

We recommend this tour in 2026 to those who don't like to be the 1000th angler in a well-trodden place, who don't want to be told exactly where to cast if they want to catch a fish and who don't want to be scared if a jaguar is sunbathing on the sand of the rivermeander in front of them. After a boat trip of about 5 hours, you will arrive at the mouth of the target river, where the base camp will be. From here, the tour starts up the river.
We can expect yatoranas (Brycon Amazonicus), pacura, surubi (catfish/Pfseudoplatystoma), characins (Salminus hilarii), and then moving up the river golden dorados. To take apart of this tour needs good physical contition, its difficulty level is B-C (moderately difficult), you carry your own equipment (fishing gear, tent provided by us 1.7kg; mattress 0.62 kg; sleeping bag 0.7kg, inflatable packraft+oar), occasionally you have to cross (and paddle, or float down the river when you go back to the basic camp to the mouth) the deeper parts with the packraft. Wading is only recommended in water up to your knees cause of the stingrays. The bigger part of the river is comfortable to wade, it is gravelly, with a slight current, and about 80% of the way down can be done by paddling. In addition to fishing, you will have a fantastic jungle experience! Wading boots are mandatory, wading suits are not absolutely necessary.
